Me too. I read it many years ago but am reminded of its premise quiet often. Your encounter with the lady could be right out of the book. I'm glad you volunteered to help her. By the way, Bill, I loved that book. Hard to believe it is just a novel, it has so many good nuggets of truth in it. I think I'll get it off my shelf and re-read it.

I wonder if she knows what a powerful impact she had on me? I hope to see her again. I live on the last street in my small community next to the baseball field, so everybody walks by my house when they go for a walk - I am keeping my eye out for her! I met a lot of people that way, including one very old gentleman who walks his very old dog every day. It is the highlight of my day to see them slowly walking by each morning, each crippled with painful arthritis but walking anyway. Sounds like ACT!Helena
