$120/day sounds great to me! Guess it also depends on the cost of living and other expenses, but if I made that, I could afford to attend a seminar.

I'm very happy to hear that Bill. I guess I need to check in with my patience level. I earn $120 a day so I can't really pay $400 for 1 or 2 days education no matter who is delivering the lecture and I'm not a university student (so there is no discount) or a psychology professional (they earn lots of money) or a sponsored business representative (nice if you can get it).The Actmindfully website has been my most constant ACT resource. There's no `Join Here' or `Become a Member' there. It's just full of great accessible resources which I go back to again and again. I hope ACT will become more accessible to the mainstream public in Australia as well, particularly the speakers.Lou>> > Lou - An ACBS special interest group is working making more local seminars available to the public. Also the group will be developing ways to help the seminar attendees form local support groups. Is there anyone else who gets frustrated by the lack of opportunity to hear these ACT people speak? I mean who has the odd $200 - $400 to spend on such self-indulgence. The ACT people were offing a scholarship to help pay for one of the conferences and I wanted to put my hat in the ring but I wasn't eligible, not a student. Another time, I was told, "Sorry, that event is only for professionals". These ACT workshops seems to be geared towards exclusivity. Damn shame that I reckon, Lou> > To: ACT_for_the_Public > Sent: Saturday, 4 February 2012 1:03 AM> Subject: Today is a blessed day!> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Today I have the amazing opportunity to attend a Workshop in Boulder, Colorado.
