Guest guest
I have been using Steve's " Tin Can Monster " exercise for a long time now to tease out and separate the sensations from the thoughts and the emotions. I move through all three of them (as individual experiences) consciously when I can remain focused. I also combine this with Russ's " Younger Self " exercise and go into sensations as they've been felt for decades. Recently I had an interesting experience, perhaps an `ahha' moment...you be the judge... ----------------------------------------------------- Learning Intimacy I can bite and fight Or wonder in delight. I can lure and incite, A limitless array, can I invite. I can stimulate and excite, I can make you shiver at night. I can own your sight And take you on a journey of fright. Alas, I can, I've done, I rewrite, I move towards a meaningful plight To experience intimacy in full flight, The strings of pleasure burning bright. But lets not assume to skite Lest one beams beyond their height, As it takes more than just being polite To keep the connection tight. This is a cautionary tale open to see, The evolution of love compassionately, As pain lieth present to the same degree Lest we falter and forget our priority. ---------------------------------------------- Lou (Learning everyday)
Guest guest
This is really beautiful. I can feel the leaning in you speak to here and it's where I'm at too. Thank you so much.
