I was told to only use for about 30 minutes to start.

Look into whether or not it could cause a mild herx IF so, I don't think it will continue but you just have to document and see.

I have an PEMF device. That's a pulsating, electromagnetic field device and I could tell the first night I put my son on it, he slept much longer but a mild herx will cause more sleep...like giving a little oregano will. THe more the herx, the worse the symptoms but it's not necessarily a bad or permanent thing. As you probably know, lyme does not like 3 things, pressure, heat or oxygen and any of these can cause a herx. I'm not familiar with what you are using but I think it's the same idea and it's oxygenating your body.

The My son herx's in the sauna (heat) and I'm sure a chamber would be a bad herx (oxygen) but we just want to treat and not herx a lot. I think I noticed his face get hot after I turned the mat up once (it's a really cool thing with many strengths and times to choose from. It's also really effective against pain. There's a probe that I can use on him for a half hour or so if he's having terrible pain in an area and after that the pain is gone. THis happened with very sharp, aweful pain in the neck and another time in his knees.

Rosner said the pad we have did cause him to herx and that surprised him because he did not think it would do anything.

Hope this helps. Debbie Gravois

-- Anyone seeing any negative results from EARTHING PAD?

Any one seeing perhaps some detox with using the Earthing Pad? www.earthing.com

the few times I have used it I have a very tired, cranky, unregulated kid the next day. Too much? thoughts?

For what period of time are you using it for?
