Guest guest
Isa, I thought further after posting last night & I tought I should pass you a couple of mouth tips we've been doing....some of this is based in Limin's post a while back (wow...time flies I just looked it up & found that was 2009) regarding the Thieves Oil toothpaste. (btw...Limin has not posted in a while..is she ok, I miss her!!!) I had some oral stuff going on & was told to brush my teeth w/Immusist...it's not the best tasting... & knowing that it helps push things further into the body...with my prior oral oil info I doctored it up to help. Well, the kids initially complained...it's pretty strong, hot & spicy tasting but they use it upon my explaination of how good it is for them ). You do get use to it & we can definately say our teeth feel cleaner & gums & other oral issues are doing very well so we're staying on it. My 1st choice w/b the Young Living Thieves Oil toothpaste.... but we're using a less expensive toothpaste w/ tea tree oil, myrrh & spearment oil (which pretty well hides all the stuff). I mix w/a drop of Thieves Oil (I'm using the Uncle Harry's which is locally made & carried by many of our local natural stores...it was recommended to one of our WA mom by our herbalist...ingredients are Wormwood, thyme, rosemary, peppermint, benzoin, peru balsam, savory, cinnamon, clove, lavender, sage, camphor, juniper, oregano, pine essential oils: http://www.uncleharrys.com/store/product_info.php/products_id/375#!tab2 I also mix 1-2 drops of Immusist then immediately use the paste on the toothbrush. You have to brush your teeth over the sink because we find we get real liquid...don't know if it's the Immusist breaking everything down or the strong oils that cause more salivating...but I'm worning you not to walk away distracted as you can get messy ;o) We also mix in a mouthwash version (the same thing, 1-2 drops Immusist, Thieves Oil, & the tea tree/myrrh/spearmint oils) combined then dilute w/water (have to dilute some...it's strong) & rinse & /or gargle then spit out (I'm interested to hear if anyone w/tonsil issues gets help w/this...we do not have the tonsils as a stress but it seems to me that gargling w/all this antibacterial/antiviral stuff would be very benefitial). We've found it orally feels clean & fresh & it doesn't take long to feel the smooth teeth from the reduced plaque Just passing my most recent step in improving our oral health...if anyone else tries it (or a variation) just let us know...
