Guest guest
Excellent news! So glad you found someone and something to help ________________________________ To: Tetheredspinalcord <tetheredspinalcord > Sent: Tue, April 5, 2011 11:01:42 AM Subject: Arm numbness  I thought I would let you guys know what I found out since some people have unexplained numbness in the arms. After a few horrible incidents I found a doctor that knows what TC is, and met Dr. Frim. He actually was training in rehab when Dr. Frim had a TC patient. He called me " the real deal " and I guess because of my affiliation with Dr. Frim never questioned my use of morphine or if I was telling the truth (I almost cried from JOY) I was official diagnosed with Myofascial Pain Syndrome, and told that sometimes Fibromyalgia is an underlying condition with MPS. The theory on the arm numbness- trigger points. I am also seeing a person who treats MPS with ultrasound and manual therapy. I have to say NO NUMBNESS since Saturday! If you are struggling with this please research this condition and all the things it can mimic. I was told it can mimic things like heart attacks! Needless to say mine is pretty advanced, but with the proper treatment I think I am getting somewhere, instead of getting worse.
