Guest guest Posted April 27, 2011 Report Share Posted April 27, 2011 Hi I have had bronch for many years now and was told for longer that I had asthma yet tests show I dont. I cough alot in a morning and wheeze but my main problem is the noise which I get inhaling or coughing. It sounds like someone banging inside like the snorkling you mention. No one can give me an answer to what it is. Its almost like a lid banging open and shut so I put it down to a weak valve from all the hard coughing I do. I guess we all have different thinhs happening to us and not always typical broncheictasis. My specialist doesnt even have me on any puffers he says they seem to make me worse. I dont even use a reliever as that too makes me cough more so I am a weird one lol.It does get scary at times and when I also have a virus which I do now but I try to not panic and that seems to help alot.Hope I have helped in some way put your mind at ease..I dont post very often but I try to read as many as I can.
