Guest guest
My daughter has tcs and she was getting severe headaches. During one of her release surgeries the ns placed a spinal shunt in her spine to keep the flow of her csf normal because she was having a collection of fluid and when that happens it creates the headache. Your cerebral spinal fluid is supposed to move up and down the spinal column but sometimes when you have tcs along with a fatty filium then the filium is a collection and if it is severe enough it will create the csf to back up and this you get a headache. Hope this was somewhat helpful! > From what I have been told, at an appt., is that it is more of a rarer > symptom, usually seen in more > severe cases, where the CSF is almost or completely blocked. > > Brande > mymocha@... > > > I have been dealing with headaches everyday and was wondering if that is > > part of it, has anyone else had headaches with tcs. > > >
Guest guest
HI, I missed this.. I head started having terrible headaches and face numbness. It turned out I was placing a lot of strain on my neck muscles, I guess I started working funny at my desk etc and had terrible tender points on my neck, head, face. I do daily massages, and went to a professional for a few months. I also got some trigger point injections (non steroid) on in my neck, they helped. No headaches. I did have a brain scan, they thought I had MS for a sec because of the numbness. I have trigger points all over the place and try to work on them daily. > ** > > > Has anyone else with a tethered cord experienced extreme pain/cramping in > the back of your head/neck when yawning?
