Guest guest
hi Sharyn, I have been for short spells, thru difficulties or when really ill, slow to recover. I'm on a dopamine uptake, to help cope with the pain levels I was having (stopped me walking this time last year, lucky I'm improved now). I still have pain but am on far less pain- killers than I was last year. Don't really know if it's making a difference, but decided to stay on it until at least after settled in - no more hassles, no more lugging, lifting etc. Nearly there. I don't think it's something to feel ashamed of - I did get annoyed with Drs harping on about having depression/anxiety problems so I said ok, verify if this is so (was given tests by psychologist, no clinical depression/anxiety), if not, concentrate on the reason I'm not feeling too bright ie being ill from infx. That cleared things up heaps, and helps focus on the real issues - lungs, infx, s/e, etc. joy h
