There's a pulmonologyoffice that got funding for a bronchiectasis treatment/study plan and new meds!I, of course called RIGHT away! They don't take children. of course...If any of you are interested in speaking to the staff running this new study,I'll give the number/ website. I called and they were very helpful. Youknow, as in not in a hurry to get me off the phone. They actually seemedinterested in my 8 yr old's dx at such a young age. This RN in charge of gettingsubjects signed up has Bronchiectasis, as well. She, like so manyof us, spent years being told that she just had a REAL bad case of asthma.She just started working in a pulm office, so as to keep up on new treatments.The website is OrlandoLungDoctor.comPh. number: I spoke to KathleenAlso,she gave the website to use to keep an eye out for othermedical studies around the U.S.: centerwatch.comI wonder if other countries have similar websites.
