Guest guest
Do you take any suppliments, like chromium picolinate? Flaxseed? Sometimes High fiber can make food go through your system faster so you don't absorb stuff from it...maybe that is why your blood sugar is so low. Excercise most surely can make BG go down...are you exercising more than usual? Has your protein intake gone up? Just throwing ideas at ya. Pre-diabetes? If you have already been diagnosed with diabetes then I don't think you would 'go backward' and be pre. Has your weight changed much? That can have a difference too in BG. Anyone else got any ideas I haven't raised? You might need to raise your carbs a bit though and see what that does. Guest guest
I 2nd ...we've dealt w/low chromium issues for years & have finally turned it around (had to supplement this w/the mineral derrangement pattern from the mercury toxicity we've dealt with....one of the best things we did early on for his mood swings was chromium supplementation. I also 2nd on the regular protein....they automatically will head for the high sugar/carb for that quick spike in energy which in the long run is actually very bad for them....what they need instead of the sugar spikes is protein to sustain their energy. Immusist may help w/this as well. ps...low chromium is common in w/the standard american diet & all the toxins we are exposed to...it's important to track this as low chromium leads to either diabetis or hypoglycemia.... Guest guest
Thanks for your responses. I will try the chromium. Did you need to restrict sugar or any other foods?
Guest guest
I cut back on refined sugars and starches (which turn to sugars). Definitely try upping the protein foods. > Thanks for your responses. I will try the chromium.
