If I take her to a pediatrician they will prescribe antibiotics, I dont know what to do, Any advise will be appreciated, Thanks talya
Guest guest
Hi Talya - She has had 4 GcMAF shots in 2 days? Or 2 days after the 4th shot she started flu like symptoms? Sorry, just trying to understand your post I know kids on GcMAF can experience flu like symptoms, especially early on in treatment... it is so hard to know what is bug and what is treatment - especially when other kids around are sick. Do you have any homeopathic basics that might help her feel more comfortable? Belladonna for fever, arnica montana for aches and pains? There are also some remedies to take for specific coughs. Could the symptoms also be die-off from the GcMAF " killing " pathogens? Use your judgement about taking her to the pediatrician. My children have autism, but they do not have rheumatoid arthritis... I am not sure how this may complicate treating a child for flu like symptoms. If you suspect it is flu (and not GcMAF activating immune system) I personally would stay away from antibiotics as the flu is viral not bacterial... I hope you can get in touch with Dr. K soon! Guest guest
Hi Talya, We are also consulting with Dr. K and between appointments with him we do phone consults with one of his assistants Dr. D. She is also very knowledgable and much more reliable to find, so I just wanted to advise you to call their office here in US and may be request phone consult with her? Regarding the GCMaf shots: I cannot talk from personal experience, but I have read messages in some of the other yahoo boards (below are links) that some children get flu like symptoms in the beginning, I think the explanation is that the immune system wakes up (especially if your child used to not get sick prior to the shots) - may be look through the archives there, or ask directly your question? http://www.autismweb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4 & t=25881 http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/beyondgfcf/messages Hope this helps, Krassi > > Hello to all the group members, > > > > I have started gcmaf with my daughter who has autism and romatoid artrithis > as Dr K recommended,I live in ýstanbul and it is very hardt to get in tocuh > with Dr K > > After the 4th shot ( each 0.05) in 2 days she is having a very high > fever, terrible cough and body aches, > > > > Does anyone know how to distinguish if this ian immune reaction or a flu she > got from school as some kids had the flu this week? > > If I take her to a pediatrician they will prescribe antibiotics, > > I dont know what to do, > > > > Any advise will be appreciated, > > > > Thanks > > > > talya >
Guest guest
Talya, Forgot to ask you question, if you don't mind? Do you know why Dr. K decided to prescribe the shots to your daughter, instead of giving the homeopathic version? I read the homeopathic version is as effecive as the shots, but wondering which cases they decide to go straight to the shots, may be when the nagalase results were too high? Guest guest
Wow, I thought GcMAF was once a week. My son had a hard time with once a week. Guest guest
Yes , that is my understanding too... that's why I was wondering if I had misinterpreted her post. If not, then Dr. K must have a drastically different approach to GcMAF.
