Guest guest
FYI- I am new to this group but not to Lyme and coinfections and their at times "autistic" presentations. All 3 of our children were devastated and our youngest was already presenting with some indicators, spinning, rocking, delayed language development, etc. We have been treated aggressively with antibiotics targeting the many infections along with herbal and integrative treatments and our kids 6 yrs after diagnosis and 7-8 after illness started are doing very well. 2 are now in "gifted" programming, and our youngest is blowing away reading and math levels (K). Many things I have been reading on your group were addressed but what seems to be different is less attenton to the infectious agents. In particular, for the bladder, Babesia and the protozoan, FL1953, Protomyxzoa rheumatica has a huge impact on the bladder, along with suspected parasites. I was very curious to see someone mention symptoms of clostridia which our kids also had on their stool samples... Would like to hear more on tthis... Also- while our kids are doing well, they are being managed on a lot of supplements and herbal remedies. We believe there is dysfunction in the immune system and are interested in anyone's GcMAF experiences...What a knowledgeable group - I run a PA Lyme support group and we see way too many ASD kids who are Lyme+... Guest guest
We have done 10 GcMAF shots so far. We have the kit to retest nagalase and will probably d o it next week. We are having more colds and illnesses, which I assume is a good sign. He has only tested positive for Babesia and band 31 on Igenex test, but his last ZYTO showed anaplasma ( I was positive for erlichia). So, he may test positive for more things if his immune system is working properly and may be able to fight them better. We are also experiencing better sleep, but the may be the camel milk.Keena FYI- I am new to this group but not to Lyme and coinfections and their at times "autistic" presentations. Guest guest
Referring to the Naglase, using homeopathic remedy, seems like its kicking up inflammation - at least for myself - lots of mouth sores - haven't seen this since I was a college student studying all the time. Just been a short time on the remedy so, will have to wait it out more. Helps to do salt water rinses - if anyone else has the same issue. Guest guest
Hi Keena, Dr K has recommended the GcMaf shots for my son. I wanted to know are you using the GcMAF shots from Europe? and what is the dose that you use for your child. My son is 6.5 yrs and weighs 60 lbs. Your input is really appreciated as I am a little confused to go that route. Guest guest
I guess the med comes from Europe, but I get the shots from Dr. Bradstreet. He adds a solution to the shots to make them more efficacious. I am not sure what the stuff is. Our first 4 shots were 5,10, 15 and 20 ml. We went back to 15 for the next 5 shots. Our next 6 are 2-20s and 4-25s. My son is 11 and 75 lbs.Keena Hi Keena, Dr K has recommended the GcMaf shots for my son. Guest guest
Yes, Clostridia is mentioned a lot on the autism forums. I have read that sacchromyces boullardii is recommended for this by some docs, as well as Flagyl, and a bunch of other things. Truly, Clostridia is an alarming infection that is attributed to causing horrible symptoms and even death. Since many with autism are reporting to have it, it really should be widely spread to all docs to check our children for it, especially since so many have the symptoms, such as chronic diarrhea. Love and prayers, Heidi N I was very curious to see someone mention symptoms of clostridia which our kids also had on their stool samples... Would like to hear more on tthis...
