Guest guest
Heidi, Alpha lipoic acid is a strong chelator and according to the Cutler protocol must be used on the half life - every 3 hours - for safe and effective chelation. Otherwise it should not be used in toxic folks. See http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Autism-Mercury/ and http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/frequent-dose-chelation/?yguid=140279175 for info re this chelating agent. > > Their autism doc has them on Alpha lipoic acid. I am guessing it likely doesn't interact with dental work. I don't have plans to use DMSA or another strong chelator. > > Love and prayers, > > Heidi N >
Guest guest
We use time-release Alpha lipoic acid and have not had any problems with it. I don't think it chelates me though; it appears that it just grabs what is hanging around. I get more detoxing from African Mango. Maybe I need a higher dose of the ALA to feel like it's chelating?
