irrational behaviors with mepron---is this ok?

hi everyone,

my 3.5 year old son has been on mepron and zithromax for about 3 weeks. the

first few days we saw an immediate improvement in his behavior, then after the

first week we've been seeing totally irrational and very severe OCD behaviors

that he usually does not exhibit. so we stopped the mepron and zithromax for a

couple of days and saw the behaviors at a less severe level. then a few hours

after we restarted the mepron and zithromax, we saw the irrational behaviors

return. i'm confused as to why there was very good improvement the very first

time he took mepron and zithromax, and that we never saw the improvements again,

even after stopping and restarting the 2 meds. does this mean we have to add

another med, or raise the dose, or lower the dose, or just wait it out? and has

anyone had this relapse in behaviors and for how long?
