Guest guest
Hey Rick,I am actually picking the inserts up this Tuesday. Good to hear that they have helped you so much, I hope they help me too. DR. Firm wants me back for another MRI, but I don't know if I need one. Thanks for sharing, that gives me a bit of hope Subject: Re: Leg issues/handicapped parking To: tetheredspinalcord Date: Sunday, November 6, 2011, 1:11 AM  Dybowski said the following on 11/4/2011 3:07 PM: > Well I have been on Neurontin and that has been working for the last 2 years almost, plus of course the narcotics BUT I just had a mold done of my feet and it's pretty bad. Having a mold done of your feet is the first thing a orthotist will do. Then he/she will have you stand on a special (machine for lack of word) that will tell where the pressure points are compared to where they are supposed to be. Then he/she will mold you a custom orthotic that will, over time, attempt to correct your foot pressure. Mine also have wedges so I dont stand on the sides of my feet. That is the most common problem. It is amazing how much stress you put on your knees and hips when you can not stand correctly. Rick
Guest guest
Hi , I was told that the burning sensation is from nerves. Might want to have that MRI just to be certain that there's nothing else going on. Kellie ..
Guest guest
I've been told the same thing...that burning pain is a sign that it's coming from nerves. I don't have TSC, but my podiatrist recently told me this when I went to her bc of a severe, burning pain just below the joint of my little toe. She told me it was most likely from a nerve problem. I have a bulging disc between L3 and L4, and when I googled an image of " nerve map " , sure enough, this region of my back is the region that correlates to the area of my body where I have the pain. The region you're referring to is also connected to the lumbar section of your back, so maybe it would be a good idea to have an MRI. Good luck. I hope you figure it out soon and it can be corrected. > Hi , > > I was told that the burning sensation is from nerves.
