Guest guest
, First of all, I mis-typed. I'm weaning off the Oxycarb, not MS-Contin. The noise/light sensitivity stems from Arnold Chiari Malformation (I have Spina Bifida). My nsg said the surgery wouldn't be worth going through so I'm just dealing with it. I've been reading up on Savella and it interacts with Coumadin, so I doubt I can take it. I just figured out the Oxycarb also interferes. Does anyone know of a pain med that doesn't interfere with Coumadin? I see the pain Dr. on Thursday. Jodi >Jodie, Oh yeah.. I have a coworker like that! Had to move my desk because I thought I would attack him if he didn't shut up lol It has helped me with joint pain, and a bit with the tender points I have. I have not had it work on spinal cord. But after 2 weeks I did start feeling better, I used to wake up feeling like I was 100 years old because my joints would hurt and I almost felt like I had a horrible flu or something. It really got out of control.. esp. with what I now know is narcolepsy. I was told this is almost like a Cymbalta, but has an extra kick to it. I used to get stabbing in my eyes when I would drive home at night because of the lights, that is gone too! Did they tell you that you have central sensitization? Or Fibro? I have heard so many amazing things from other people, and like I said, the side effects are not bad at all. The only thing I have occasionally is nausea if I don't eat. Otherwise I'm all good
