I do natural protein and I do only eat Tuna and fish, nothing else. I am trying

to supplement and do everything I can to be healthy while doing this.I just have

a massive problem with muscle knots, and they do not go away. EVER. They led to

numbness before (they thought I had MS!) Actually I have been looking for

trigger point injections, it seems doctors around here only do 1 or 2 of them. I

get them done in my buttocks now. They upped my OxyContin dose by 30MG/day

because I just can't sit/walk like this anymore.

I do appreciate the advice :)

Lessman, he is awesome. Also I am vegan/vegetarian. Also I'm 5'9 and 138lbs, so

I am not overweight.I have all these knots all over my legs on top of the damage

done by the TC (burning, electrical pain).

these things would work on me. My legs just hurt like hell, in fact it was so

bad yesterday I was not able to work, just sitting in my cube trying to breathe,

my dose of OxyContin was upped by 10Mg x3 day yesterday because of the pain. It

was a 7 scale and has been 6-8 the last 10 days.

Hi ,

I am sorry you are having so much pain. I have to wonder if some 'real'

protein might help. We have our own chickens fed non-gmo grain and feed.

I eat 3 large or 4 small ones a day for protein and usually 4-6 oz beef,

pork, fish, or poultry. I totally respect your decision to be

vegetarian, there are many levels and I do not know what level you are,

but please do some research about it on those web sites I mentioned. I

very well could be lack of protein is contributing to your pain. There

are protein supplements but I have no experience with them. If you

choose to try any please be sure they are natural and not from

genetically modified sources such as soy.

I must have missed it before, are the muscle knots what cause the pain

and difficulty walking? Many years ago - maybe 5 to 8, have to check my

records, my right calf was knotted up, painful, and spastic. My

physiatrist shot some botox in it, lasted ~90 days. We did this on and

off for a few years. Now just sometimes knotted, but tolerable. Gets

that way from sitting too long, sitting on hard chair, or sitting in a

recliner. Anything that puts pressure on my sacrum. Now I just quit

sitting or change positions.

Rick

ps - careful of the mercury in tuna...

Yes- myofascial pain, brought on by " central sensitization " - other symptoms-

light/noise tolorance, increase in pain, all over sensitivity, can't stand

cold. My skin in general feels bruised. If my cat sits on me (3lbs) I scream.

Have them everywhere- head (10+) face (30-35), collarbones, breasts, arms,

fingers.. Tummy, bikini line, thighs (bad) buttocks (bad) ... Knees/calves

bad... Toes.

All of that :(
