Yes, I think I see what you mean. What is the telephone if not an instrument of commucation, a means to connection with others. Very unusual for someone to pick up the phone before they know who is calling. I can see how that would be appreciated! I actually do more "connecting and communicating" on Facebook than the telephone; I don't even have a cell phone!

Soo much there, lots of history, lots of stuff around the phone. In awe too that this person did not know it was me calling. Something about that seems rather bold and appealing.
