Guest guest
Hi I have been using the NeilMed on and off for a few months. I heard about Sinusurf but research suggested that s Baby Shampoo had the same effect. I've tried this a few times and no adverse effects, though no great improvement in mucus discharge either... Guest guest
Hi , I was curious about the ingredients in SinuSurf sinceI when I irrigate my sinuses, some of the saline solution drains down into my lungs. I called NeilMed, and they told me that it was baby shampoo with some of the ingredients removed. I then asked them to email the ingredients to me. Guest guest
Hi Joy, I use the same solution as you do and will continue to do so. I am so happy that you got the house. I hope you enjoy it, and take your time getting settled. Sometimes we push ourselves too hard in these type of situations. Take care. I mix up a jam-jar size, then have a smaller jar in my bathroom along with the usual daily stuff. I had FESS 2 plus years ago & has worked fine, even with a very imperfect cleft palate that lets soft food and liquid into the nasal cavity plus all the oddity of anatomy it has become. It's worth a try, cheers,Joy
Guest guest
hi have you tried 2 parts salt, 1 part bicarb, mix up a jar, then use 1/2 tsp in 50 ml water in sinus flusher. It's cheap, can make it yourself and is effective. Having an cleft palate repair badly sealed any soft food, seeds, etc can get trapped into my nasal cavity - lovely! So if can't flush I have terrible time, which I did too long. Such simple solutions can sometimes make a huge improvement to quality of health and life, joy h Aus
Guest guest
Thanks for the tip Joy! For now the NeilMed sachets are OK but it's good to know I can make things myself if need be. I have some organic apple cider vinegar too. I may try putting a small amount of that in to see how that goes. Best 36, London
Guest guest
, hope the organic cider helps. It's so good that we can find out different things that might help us. It was good for me to find out I can make different things myself . I don't have to purchase everything from a Company. . Take care Joy L Subject: Re: Joy L. - SinuSurf that thins sinus mucusTo: bronchiectasis Date: Monday, May 23, 2011, 2:44 PM Thanks for the tip Joy!For now the NeilMed sachets are OK but it's good to know I can make things myself if need be.I have some organic apple cider vinegar too.
