Guest guest
Kay, sorry to say, looks like we didn't get the house we applied for, but anyway (messed us around for a whole week...), but was probably too pricey realistically, pool expenses too much extra - doesn't swim, I'm happy in the sea - we do live right on top of the Pacific Ocean, the Great Barrier Reef! This morning we rang a RE agent specialising house sales in this same area - pure fluke, one had just sold, for long-term rental ... good views back toward our small mountain range, good breeze from the SE Trades .... ticks most of the boxes, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms - sure we'll find enough space each (all new houses now have massive spread- out living areas & often tiny bedrooms. Monday first thing, we'll be in to fill in the application... It's not as swanky as the other house, but is brand-new, $60-$70 less per week and no pool, thank goodness! hopefully, better luck this time - we've looked at so many now, I can hardly remember which was which... luckily does. cheers, joy h
