Guest guest
So mostly leg issues? It's driving me crazy! My calf is constantly having some weird spasm and the stairs are impossible now! Good luck Subject: RE: Worried- MRI retether To: tetheredspinalcord Date: Wednesday, November 23, 2011, 5:15 AM Hi , I have retethered and am going in for another MRI on Monday for symptoms similiar to yours. They were the same with my retether so I bit the bullet and made the appointment. It is scary but what is worse is putting it off. The longer you put it off the more damage is done if you retether. I will say for me the second surgery wasn't as bad as the first. To: tetheredspinalcord From: lilacs007@... I get it where I cannot stand, period. It's that bad. I do have, and have had some leg issues since last year prior to surgery, electric pain, burning, weird cramping/feeling like I have been hit, weakness etc.. but this is all NEW. Has anyone retethered and what were your symptoms? I'm scared of even making that appointment
Guest guest
Hi , I am having a lot of pain and numbness in my foot and leg and it has now progressed into my knee. I have alot of pain in my back also. I will know more when I go into the neuro after my MRI tomorrow. It has gotten much worse over the past month and my leg has become extremely weak. Guest guest
Hi , I have had 5 detetherings and my last call from Dr. Frim's office (he was in emergency surgery during my appointment so I just had an MRI) the assistant told me I was not only retethered again but also tethered in a new place. So, he's pulling your leg (hahaha). You can retether. Some people do and some people always do. M. > So mostly leg issues? It's driving me crazy! Guest guest
, Did Dr. Frim do all five of your surgeries and what type of tether did you first start with? Was it just a filum cut or something more? I hope you are not very symptomatic now. Is Frim advising more surgery? Take care. > > > > > > Subject: RE: Worried- MRI retether > > To: tetheredspinalcord > > Date: Wednesday, November 23, 2011, 5:15 AM > > > > > > Hi , > > > > I have retethered and am going in for another MRI on Monday for symptoms similiar to yours. Guest guest
Oh great.. No bow tie X-Mas gift for him then! I turned my phone off today.. I know I should make the appointment, but my brain keeps avoiding it. 5 retethers? I'm sorry.. I wish I knew what else to say. But he is good.. and I trust him with my life.
