Guest guest
hi e, very useful base for converting temps - I just remember 37C = 98F (or thereabouts) from my nursing days, and 25C and 80F are close. As a kid in Tasmania (little island off bottom of Australia) where we emigrated to from UK I thought 80F was hot weather. Now it's around 26C, comfortable, cool if in shade, warm if in sun - as it's been lateyl, is classic Cairns weather that tourists come here for. I know so little about my family's past, and now too late to find out anything from parents even tho both are still alive. Mum had her 1st bronchitis in her mid-80s. Couldn't believe it, I'd had bronchitis 2-4 x year most years of my life - until about a decade ago and became referred to as exacerbations. So glad your Sam was dx as early as he was - I've been told that it takes a decade or more to become widespread, and detectable on x- ray. I was dx via x-ray and bronchogram (no CT scan) age 18, widespread. My guess is it started in my infancy also. But your Sam has SO much a better chance in life, things are so much better, especially understanding the nature of pathogens. cheers, Joy
