Guest guest Posted February 6, 2012 Report Share Posted February 6, 2012 Hi, As a ex Biology teacher and also someone who used to suffer from a lot of panic attacks I thought I'd try to explain the biology and neurology of how panic attacks can arise from a low tolerance of anxiety. I think if you understand the mechanism then it is easier to see why the ACT approach of dropping the struggle with anxiety is so important. Hope you find it useful.
