I just went in for my new MRI.. waiting on results.

In the meantime I saw Dr. Ismail at U of Chicago OB section yesterday.I wanted

to get my questions answered and to see for myself what he thought, I guess Dr.

Frim sends all of his patients there.

Basically, I LOVED him, as did my husband. He told me C-Section under

anesthesia, and back brace :)Also to start folic acid and send my last 3 years

of paps to him..

As for the meds.. he is not thrilled but OKAY with the morphine, what really

concerns him is the Neurontin and Baclofen (or any relaxers), as well as

Savella.

My dilemma.. The morphine well he said that worst case we would have to deal

with addiction to the baby, and if my pain is severe and I cannot be off pain

meds we need to work on a plan and make sure we both understand the consequences

His real worry as stated above are the other meds, which I need. I tried cutting

the Neurontin (now take 600 Mg 2 times a day max) vs  1200 x 3. And cut the

Savella.. but my legs KILL even worse than they did before..

Does anyone have advice on all of this, and the choices you had to make?

I am to come back in 6 months.. and my hubby and I are heading to counselling

this Saturday, so I hope this can be a reality for me in 2013. I am so ready to

be a mother emotionally. But am so confused and scared about everything else.

I hope someone can share their experiences. I don't, and won't judge. you can

write off list..
