if mepron kills babesia, why need z-max along with it?

let's say theoretically that a person only has babesia and no other diseases.

and we only want to treat babesia and nothing else. if mepron kills babesia,

then why is zithromax needed along with it? zithromax alone doesn't kill

babesia, does it?
