Guest guest
Aah...the eternal divide between Australia and New Zealand. I must say, I've never heard a story about a New Zealander actually calling Australia 'the Mainland'...it's usually Aussies who do that to stir up the Kiwis. And I love the bit about the different Aussie accents. My husband says, in complete seriousness, that we're the only country in the world without an accent! I live in Australia but was born in New Zealand. And, off this topic but about ACT, here's a quote I came across this morning that helps me make sense of 'letting it go':"When people say "Let it go," what they really mean is "Get over it," and that's not a helpful thing to say. It's not a matter of letting go - you would if you could. Instead of "Let it go," we should probably say "Let it be"; this recognizes that the mind won't let go and the problem may not go away, and it allows you to form a healthier relationship with what's bothering you." ~Jon Kabat-Zinn Cheers all'It's just a step to the right....put your hands on your hips and bring your knees in tight'
