Hi Joy,

I had a chest x-ray last Thursday and yesterday my plumonologist's nurse called to say that he wants me to take a CAT scan. She didn't know why, so I asked for the doctor to call me as I would like to know if he saw something on my x-ray.

I do push myself quite a bit as I have a compulsive personality which I do try to overcome. I've improved since my earlier years, but there's room for lots more improvement.

hi Eileen,so sorry you're feeling so unwell - it does sound like you need more than just a w/e rest to recover. Maybe it's just my own experience, that by trying to push myself too often I made myself worse. I'm glad now that (mostly) take the rest when it's needed...here's to feeling better very soon,joy h

i had opposite prob, almost being 'brought up' in hospitals and

clinics! It took me a long time to learn to push myself. However,

as Drs are rarely forthcoming (esp older generation) it's probably

better to be pushy! Better to know the full deal than be in

ignorance ...
