I tried Opana briefly but it gave me such weird side effects that I had to stop.

My arms were REALLY achy. I couldn't lift them higher than my elbow. I've been

on Oxcarbazepine for several months. While it doesn't take the pain away, it

calms it down enough to where I can function.

Hey Girl, is that you? How have you been? I am in a fight to keep

my toes -- this time some idiot in the emergency room put a hole in my

foot for Thanksgiving when I went there to get a tetnas shot after a

spider bite. The fools thought it might be a blister. The hole has

been open all this time and won't heal and now you can see the tendons

and bone. Aghhhh... Tomorrow I go to get a biopsy. Can't wait. Say

a prayer.

How are you doing honey?

I take 40mg of opana ER twice a day I love it. I also do have dilaudid still for

break thru pain but I've been on it for 3 years now and it's the lowest dose

drug with plenty of room to move up I've been on ever and the best pain relief

I've ever had!

For how long have you been on Opana ER, ? Any issues with having to

increase dose or severe constipation? Thanks for info!

constipation yes as with any pain med but my dr put me on (prolly spelt wrong

buy reading it my way is exactly how it is pronounced lol) after every meal and

now I go every day no problem.

And a pain doc willing to use opiods...you found a rare place. One of the pain

clinics at which I worked had psychiatrists trained in pain who used cocktails

that included narcotics. They are few adn far between! So so so happy that you

found something helpful!!! Gives me hope for my girl!!
