Guest guest
Hey Elena, Yes that's exactly what I'm saying. I don't leave the house without it and I always want to have it with me because he gets it 4 times a day and I don't ever want him to miss a dose. I don't' think he will be on it for life but for now....he really needs it and is doing better all the time. NOt the only thing that's working but it's very important. Deb -- Σχετ: cholystyramine question Could you please tell me how the Cholysteramine is working to help your son? What do you think is happening, for it to reduce psychosis? Could you please elaborate on what you mean by 'it's incredible what it does for him'. Thanks Elena Απο: Debbie Gravois Yahoo Î Ïος: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Στάλθηκε: 8:48 Ï€.μ. Î Îμπτη, 3 ΜαÎου 2012Θεμα: cholystyramine question About the cholystyramine, yes my son reacted badly at first. Herxing (which for my son is anger, red ears, low-grade fever), immediate constipation, and even some vomiting. I had to take him down to 1/4 TBSP, once, every other day. BUt then I came up pretty quickly because at the same time I could see a big reduction in psychosis. In about a month, maybe 6 weeks I had him up to full dosage of 1 TBSP, 4 times a day. It's incredible what it does for him and if I get low, I start to panic. Spoke with his former LLMD a few days ago and he said that he and other docs have given up on Cholystyramine too soon and he would be going back to it WITH OXYPOWDER. That stuff cleans you out...you will not have to worry about the constipation. Get it online....give it only at bedtime.
