Guest guest
Hi Debbie Thanks for replying - so what you are saying is that the Cholysteramine is actually binding or soaking up the toxins in your child's digestive tract and carrying them out? For a couple years he has looked schzophrentic and just plain psychotic during his worst times when we're searching for the lyme diagnosis that we would later get. Looked like he was slowly losing his mind. Then, with trying the abs, it all REALLY HIT THE FAN. He became VERY violent and psychotic. I could not let him look in the mirror or he would physically and verbally attack himself. It is what the toxins do to him. His reaction to toxins in the air, food, in the fallout from the lyme and co-infections...etc.... He is not psychotic anymore and I can see his benefit from the chol in about 12-15 minutes of taking it. Less all the time because he's not having the angry episodes anymore but in the beginning (once he was on a therapeutic dose) after a month of treatment it was amazing. P.s. At the same time, we've started the PEMF device which has reduced/eliminated his pain which Dr B says is also at the root of his previous violence but don't' think that worked on psychosis....however, toxins cause inflammation, inflammation in the brain causes violence so just wanted to throw that in as it was done at the same time so it could be a contributor. Debbie -- Σχετ: cholystyramine question Could you please tell me how the Cholysteramine is working to help your son? What do you think is happening, for it to reduce psychosis? Could you please elaborate on what you mean by 'it's incredible what it does for him'. Thanks Elena Απο: Debbie Gravois Yahoo Î Ïος: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Στάλθηκε: 8:48 Ï€.μ. Î Îμπτη, 3 ΜαÎου 2012Θεμα: cholystyramine question About the cholystyramine, yes my son reacted badly at first. Herxing (which for my son is anger, red ears, low-grade fever), immediate constipation, and even some vomiting. I had to take him down to 1/4 TBSP, once, every other day. BUt then I came up pretty quickly because at the same time I could see a big reduction in psychosis. In about a month, maybe 6 weeks I had him up to full dosage of 1 TBSP, 4 times a day. It's incredible what it does for him and if I get low, I start to panic. Spoke with his former LLMD a few days ago and he said that he and other docs have given up on Cholystyramine too soon and he would be going back to it WITH OXYPOWDER. That stuff cleans you out...you will not have to worry about the constipation. Get it online....give it only at bedtime.
