when ever I get a new book, I ALWAYS do what I call my 'preliminary' on it.

read table of contents, flip through quickly looking for photos, graphs, etc.

read index, references, etc.

much to my surprise I didn't do it with 's book, and recently noticed

that, (because they are listed alphabetically, but even so)

the first book in references is Bark's translation of 'Rumi'
