Guest guest
Hi All, I recently made rather grossly incorrect analogy to Dr. Batten's exercise by making up my own version and leaving out important elements which she detailed for us years ago on this very list. For anyone interested in this very useful exercise, please see posts #2097 and #2119. It's a powerful way to begin to mindfully grow familiar with the old counter-productive choices patterns (cues, triggers) that are not aligned with values yet have become so ingrained they tend to be so automatic. And an opportunity to really access that, while stretching in the moment for something new.. and then noticing what comes up around that. Sorry for the error. Hope others find as much value with this ACT exercise as I am now finding. well wishes, t
