Guest guest
Hi, Recently I found the above quote from Lao Tzu a Taoist teacher from China. It seems to capture in a few words what I discovered works for me with when I had my own panic attacks and went through a long phase of trying all sorts of techigues and therpaies to fix the problem. The paradox ,as it's often said in ACT, is that in this specific context the intense effort to clear the muddy waters only leads to more muddy waters and the solution is to give up stirring the water and just BE WITH the feelings. I have created some youtube videos to explain more about the problems of struggle with panic attacks and why the path of non-resistance is very helpful in this specific condition. Hope if you are struggling with panic attacks you find them helpful Mervyn D'souza Mindfulness Coach mervyndsouza@... http://artofmindfulliving.org
