Guest guest
We have one. My husband bought it. It helps his lower back with a herniated disc. It made my legs go numb, which I assume is not a good thing, so I only used it one time. ________________________________ To: Tetheredspinalcord <tetheredspinalcord > Sent: Saturday, January 7, 2012 3:47 PM Subject: Inversion Tables  Has anyone used one with tethered cord I wanted to buy one however it states not to use with spinal cord surgery/injury. Guest guest
It would stretch ur spine. Not a good idea with TC. The stretching would help decompress the pressure from a herniated disc. Guest guest
I agree -- I did decompression therapy for a period before my TC was diagnosed and I had the worst flare up in my life.... to this day I wonder if it was that. I wouldn't risk it. Dee> To: tetheredspinalcord > From: jlbobin@... > Date: Sat, 7 Jan 2012 18:35:59 -0500 > Subject: Re: Inversion Tables > > It would stretch ur spine. Not a good idea with TC. Guest guest
I wish I had one. Trying to get my pt to buy one for his clinic. We use an arm sling instead. Feels so good to swing my legs. If you are tethered that would not be good but I think it will help you stay untethered after surgery. Rick JBobin said the following on 1/7/2012 4:35 PM: > It would stretch ur spine. Guest guest
Hmm I'm gonna ask Dr. Frim.I saw a very good one for around $300, they are not that bad but still an investment. The last thing I need is a flare! > > Has anyone used one with tethered cord I wanted to buy one however it > states not to use with spinal cord surgery/injury. > Thanks > >
