Guest guest
Awesome, Kv. Amazing how much difference this stuff makes. And how simple it is once the light bulb goes off... I'm just popping in, a quicky. I walked past this secretary today who I always liked and she was talking very happily away to a delivery driver who is very handsome. He doesn't pop in much but they seemed to be getting on ever so well. A few years back I tried to get to know her but I was too shy. I think I mighjt have been a laughing stock in my company as it obviously wasn't going to go anywhere, but I was fed up with my shyness so I just had a go despite how hopeless it might be. It was also very painful but I wanted to be brave with that too. As I went past I felt my heart sink and my legs felt full of lead as they slowed down. Why couldn't I have got on with her like that, I thought. Then all of a sudden the words Reality Gap and Russ came into my mind. I had no idea what the words meant but I went and kindled the book and downloaed a sample. Then, as I read the introduction, in just in those few words, I seemed to be reading everything that had just happened to me: The Reality Slap and The Reality Gap. All of a sudden I didn't feel so unusual and I realised we all suffer as Russ showed. I also saw how many things might not go as as we would like but the world can still have much to offer. I might never be confident but my guitar playing improves all the time. I could see that happines comes in other ways, that it is not always about getting what we want. As I cycled home I saw how lovely the Sun was even though I felt rather alone. I could see that with acceptance the Sun will always be lovely. Guest guest
The Sun doesn't always shine but it is always there, rather like the observing self. And the Sun is always beautiful.
