I am sorry to hear about your cat scan results. When do you go back to the Doctor?? Have they made any decision on what they are going to do ???? Back in 2006 I had to have my middle lobe removed on my right lung. It was not cancer. Please don't worry, it will turn out ok. I will keep you in my prayers and please keep us posted. Joy L from WI

Eileen, about 8 yrs ago I went thru the same thing. The first ct scan looked suspicious, so I had 2 more after that. They decided it must be scar tissue. I guess when you have bronch the xrays appear weird if they're not sure what to look for. We're all sending our prayers to you.

Yesterday I received the results which states that I have a 3.5 x 3.7 soft tissue mass in the superior segment of the right lobe. More superiorly, there are 4 smaller soft tissue densities present and may represent satellite lesions. This is most suspicious for neoplasm.

My Plumonologist will review these CAT scan x-rays today and probably schedule a bronchoscopy. This is a complete shock for me and I am frightened.

Has anyone in the group had any experience with a similiar situation?
