Ron:

Thank you for sending out the information. Many people have told me how

they are appreciative of the information you are providing. One common

thing I hear is that the news you post, regardless what State it is from,

effects all of us in one way or another and that we can use that information

in our own organizations.

I looked back at the e-groups archive to see what the fuss was all about. I

found that during the first six days of September, Ron did not post one

single message. Since that time there have been a total of 40 messages from

Ron over a seven day period or an average of about 5.71 messages per day, if

my math is correct. It was most interesting to note that about ten messages

over the past 36 hours are relatied to the HCFA Rules which we have been

patiently waiting for. This is the first major overhaul of EMS

reimbursement since the inception of Medicare and it affects every single

provider of EMS, and more importantly every Medicare beneficiary in the

nation. It will possibly bankrupt some providers and cause local taxes to

go up in other areas.

Anyway, Ron I appreciate you making this information available. If I don't

want to read your messages, I just hit the forward button and send them to

my old friend Gene Gandy, so he gets them twice.

You guys have a good day and be happy!
