It will be interesting to see what meaning folks give it.D Today a lady talked about her experience, She said she used to perform better under stress, now she perform worse under pressure. I think I also feels the same. Is it common as life journey make us tired ? Anyone have similar experience? This type of stress can be meating deadlines, starting a new project, or studying for exams, etc. But prolonged or more severe forms of stress will always make people feel tired, worried, or even ill. I'm in the very ill category myself. The solution for me is to keep working at therapy, although I might also be in need of some long term sick leave from work so as to get some much needed rest. Two people facing the same pressures in the same job might have very different reactions, if they perceive their ability to cope differently. Things that affect your ability to cope might include good training, healthy support from coworkers and supervisors, and having some degree of control over your work. If any of these are weakened, (or you perceive they are) then you may feel the pressure more. The jobs most associated with strain and stress are not surgeons, business executives, pilots, and those we think of as carrying heavy burdens of responsibility.
