Autism: Pathways to Recovery

The start of the year began with the release of Dr. Amy’s new book in January, “Autism: Pathways to Recoveryâ€. The goal was to provide a clear and comprehensive guide which provided the reader with a linear approach to Dr. Amy’s protocol. The success of this new release - including a companion workbook - surpassed all of our expectations. Thank you to all that contributed in helping make this happen; it has been and will continue to be helpful to so many people.

Pathways to Recovery, The Yasko Protocol Conference

We would again like to thank all who attended the “Pathways to Recovery, The Yasko Protocol Conference†in Boston. The conference format was very different than any other we have ever done and proved to be quite a success. We extend a special thank you to the Holland Center who sponsored the “Walk to Recovery†which took place during the weekend’s events. Over seven thousand dollars was raised and donated to help battle autism; kudos to all who took part in this effort. We are currently looking at potential dates for 2011. At this time, Dr. Amy has committed to speaking at the 2011 Autism One conference which will be held Memorial Day weekend in Chicago.

Autism Community Contributions

This year we were happy to support some of the many voices in the Autism community. HHI co-sponsored the C.A.R.E. Autism Walk, and assisted Unlocking Autism with a hosted benefit event. We were present at the Autism One conference, raised $1,000 during the month of April for Autism Awareness Month, participated in the Autism Society’s Autism Walk, and raised money for Generation Rescue, Autism One and The Autism Treatment Center of America. All are great organizations who deserve to be recognized and supported for their continued commitment to the Autism community.

New Holistic Health International Logo

2010 also marked the launch of HHI’s new logo, switching from the DNA strand in the yellow rectangle to the new Angel/ DNA strand in bold orange. The logo represents our scientific commitment to supplement quality and efficacy and our pledge to offer the best tools to help you take charge of your health.

We are excited about the launch of Dr. Amy’s new content site DrAmyYasko.com. The focus here is to welcome newcomers to the protocol with a simple and straightforward approach in order to get started on the road to recovery. Simplifying our approach and making it easier to understand for new persons joining us helps everyone involved. For the thousands who are already on the path to recovery using the protocol, we plan to continue to upgrade and improve our online tools this coming year to enhance your online experience.

Compounded Formulas

Anyone who has purchased supplements from HHI this past year has seen that we have reached a very important milestone; the introduction of our compounded formulas has been greatly received by many who have been following the protocol as well as the many newcomers this past year. With over thirty formulations both in spray and encapsulated form, we have seen many people take advantage of these new products in order to save time and find an easier and more effective way to administer supplements. Special thanks goes to Dr. Mark Neveu whose effort and continued work with Dr. Amy guarantees HHI’s ability to provide the best in supplement quality and efficacy.

Black Bear Energy

There is a lot of buzz about Dr.Yasko’s newest project, Black Bear Energy. A great story behind this project with a wonderful purpose. We invite everyone to learn about the importance of B12 on BlackBearB12.com. Dr. Amy shared her Black Bear Energy spray with all attendees at her conference this summer. What a hit! Many of our parents need a product they can call their own and this spray delivers a much needed dose of B12 that helps them get through the day. HHI expects a line of BBE products will be available in the new year – all the energy you need to get through the day – and into the night!

Discussion Group For Professionals

Another new tool has been implemented on our discussion group for our professionals. We now have a “Professional Only†section located on CH3Nutrigenomics.com. Now professionals can get the support that they need in a private practitioner only forum.

Supplement List

Due to the ever evolving nature of Dr. Amy’s protocol and especially with all the new products offered, we continue to update and streamline our "Supplement List". The goal here is to make our approach as easy to understand as possible. Many of you have shifted to using the new compounded formulas but there are some who have not due to the uncertainty of introducing something new. We realize that with all of our new formulas being available, some people may have difficulties in understanding what, why and how much of each to use. We understand your concern and please know that choosing not to use any of these new formulas is fine if you are more comfortable following an existing supplement regime that works. The continuous updating of this supplement list will help guide you when ready. As always, please work with your healthcare professional.
