Hi Norma,

I don't have a co-pay for one months supply of the tobi injectable under Medicare and Humana.EILEEN

From 2005 through 2007 I was able to get Tobi free from a pharmacy in Florida. Then I became resistant to it and was prescribed Polymyxin B. It my inpression that only patients with cystic fibrosis could get Tobi, which is specifically for inhalation, free.

I'm very sorry to hear about the drug cost problem you all have. I believe that Tobi is the prefered inhaled antibiotic and it is covered in the US under Medicare Part B . I think your physician should be culturing your sputum and choosing the most cost effective drug.
