ZEN. Any experience bad/good of this product....

I needed some info/experience bad/good about the supplement ZEN, a combination

product by Allergy Research Group.

Yasko uses it pretty widely, Limin any experience or drug reactions if you have

observed with it??

My daughter takes this. I used L-Theanine and GABA separately in the past. I have not used these

together. ZEN basically is GABA and L-Theanine at 5.5:2 ratio. We didn't see

changes with GABA, but liked L-Theanine, which can inhibit glutamic acid

excitotoxicity, and promotes alpha wave production in the brain. I have read

parents' posts in the past that their children were not able to tolerate GABA.

For this group of children, I suspect that they will not able to tolerate ZEN

either, as L-Theanine would further increase the production of GABA.

L-Theanine also increases the production of dopamine. So the supplement is not

for everyone.
