Need allergy testing advice

My preferred method for figuring out allergies is avoidance, challenge and

observation of symptoms. Now I need to figure out allergies for someone who is

cognitively impaired to the point of not being able to accurately say whether a

symptom is better or worse than last week, yesterday or even a short while ago.

I suspect both food and inhalant allergies. Recommendations for lab tests and/or

practitioners accessible to someone in the SF Bay Area appreciated.
