I sounds viral if it flares up when your child is sick. Tics are associated with PANDAS, among other things. Has your child been tested for PANDAS? PamSender: praboli@...Subject: Facial Tics and HeadachesTo: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Date: Thursday, February 3, 2011, 11:34 AM

My 8 year old has had a transiet facial tic for years. It affects his nose and eye area. I've never paid much attention to it because it usually only lasts a few days to a week and comes with illness or fatigue, then it goes away for long periods.

It has been flaring up the past 2 weeks. What has me concerned is that he has been complaining of headaches in the forehead area with the tic this time. He is diagnosed with mild PDD-NOS and ADHD. He has MANY food intolerances, chemical sensitivities, yeast and bacteria problems. He had a bout of Strep Throat last month which was treated with Zithromax (probiotics along with).

I'm not sure what is behind the current symptoms. Thanks so much for any input.

Tics are often transient. It must have to do with a certain nerve being

inflamed because treating for pathogens and/or chiropractic adjustments seem to

be the most effective ways of ridding it. Some need both chiropractic

adjustments and treatments for pathogens, and some only need treatments for one.

It will vary depending upon the person's needs. I think both bacteria and

viruses can cause the inflammation, but it appears that treating for bacteria is

more commonly relieving it than treating for viruses. Did the Zithromax effect

it in any way? If so, it will be a clue. The symptoms can worsen upon being

treated then subside, or just subside.

Love and prayers,

Zithromax greatly reduces my son's facial and verbal tics. I guess that his

tics are Strep-induced.

,Thank you for your report. Do you mind posting your son's Zithromax dosage and body weight? I have thought of reintroducing biofilm protocol, but need to consider using herbs other than biofilm enzymes. My son's platelet levels are pretty low, and most biofilm enzymes are anti-platelet. In 2007 our first round of biofilm protocol ran for 8 months straight. I needed to call it an end suddenly, after my son fell from his bike and scratched his arm. His blood was pinkish, very light as blood color, and took sometime to clot. A couple years later at our second round, we did 2 months on and 1 month off in consideration of my son's platelet levels.I have thought that our (vaccinated) kids need to be treated for Strep, Measles, and herpes simultaneously. Per Yasko these 3 pathogens share the same receptor. Once you have fishing poles (receptors) out there, they are generally hooked up with a combo of Strep, Measles, and Herpes together. She believes that treating this combo can help the kids to excrete metals. Perhaps I should get anti-viral onboard to be used with Zithromax, and send my son's urine sample for metal testing.PS: Yasko also mentioned that niacinamide is anti-viral, anti-bacterial. LiminLimin, It's interesting about the strep w/in our kids. I think it is a major factor for my son. We are using azithro now daily along w/ a strong biofilm protocol and seeing good results. We dose the azithro twice a day w/ Dr Usman's biofilm protocol. It also seems to be bringing about a herpes rash so we are considering adding valtrex to the mix. The azithro/biofilm has reduced my sons verbal tic, separation anxiety, aggression, rages, samness, OCD......definetly need more work but very noticeable gains so far. > My 8 year old has had a transiet facial tic for years. Hi Limin,

Thanks for the tip on B3 ....we are looking into it.

My son is 14 yrs old and weighs 160 pounds. He has no gut issues so the biofilm protocol has not been an issue for us yet......just burps and farts for the first time ever so maybe that's good!

We do the biofilm protocol 2 times a day. First, disodium EDTA from Wonder LAbs, serrapeptidase, nattokinase...........then 1/2 hr to 1 hr we follow up w/ 250 mgs azithro , 100 mgs diflucan or 1 tablet nystatin, EDTA, and 500 mgs valtrex. We then wait 1 hr and give citrus pectin.(depending on the die off we give 1 tsp or more if needed). We then wait 1 to 2 hrs and give custom probiotics.

I read a study the other day about how much more effective vancomycin was when given w/ EDTA so that's why I also added EDTA to the 2nd step as well........it's very trial and kid specific......if I see my kid losing it then I moveto the clean up phase more quickly.....we really find the citrus pectin works great and very quickly.

Thanks, .I wish you the best luck and success implementing the protocol. My son couldn't tolerate Wonder Labs' disodium EDTA, but did well on Biopure Phospholipids Exchange, which contains disodium EDTA. Yes, biofilm protocol is very trial and kid-specific. Thanks again for sharing your experience.LiminHi Limin, Thanks for the tip on B3 ....we are looking into it. My son is 14 yrs old and weighs 160 pounds.
