What we used for Strep

Transfer Factor from 4Life Research has proved to be a most effective way for overcoming Strep throat and many other infections. I believe it is an excellent alternative to IVIG. Below is a brief story of how we learned about it and the circumstances. Once

we started using Transfer Factor, I gave our daughter 9 capsules a day (3 X 3). Did that for 10 days, then slowly worked down the quanity per day until she did not develop any sign of a sore throat or white spots in her throat. In years since, she uses a maintenence dose of 2 capsules a day. She has been able to resist infections When "bugs" are circulating all around her at school and now at her employment serving residents at a nursing home, she is able to stay well or quickly detox the infection by consuming more immediately. In addition she uses Colloidial Silver at the first sign sign of an infection.

Starting in April 2000 we used 4Life Research's Transfer Factor to end the constant reoccurance of Strep throat with our then 11 year old daughter. At that time, it was the only TF that the 4Life offered. Now there are more products with TF in them but that one is still offered as Transfer Factor Classic. I learned about it on an Autism yahoo discussion list. At that time there were several parents who had discovered it, tried it and found that it was helping their child to address issues of infection. And their child was able to resist infections that others in their circle of family and friends were catching. That sounded like something I wanted to know more about!!

Because two of the products that we'd been giving our daughter were no longer available in the formula that had been effective, she had fallen back into old patterns. One of these was Strep throat. To top it off, continual usage of antibotics was what had resulted in a loss of language & social development when she was almost 4 years old. She had just gained some language at 3 yrs 2 months, when she developed an ear infection and strep throat. An antibiotic was prescribed and she regressed. Her doctor was friends with another doctor who worked with severely handicapped children some of whom also had with the diagnosis of Autism. He saw yeast infections in these children after they had a round of antibiotics and a side symptom was their language was affected as were some noticeable changes in behaviors. He said the children with Autism did not test for yeast overgrowth, but the symptoms were there just with the other children without autism. Giving all the children an antifungal took care of the issues. Soooo, he suggested to our child's Dr to prescribe Nystatin cream which was to be applied to her bottom. Within days, our daughter was returning to the child we had known. So, knowing that antibotic useage could reverse her gains, I had vowed I was going to do everything possible to keep her so healthy she would NEVER have another antibotic in her life --except to save her life. Well, in early 2000 the Strep returned as did the ear infections and I gave in to the idea of a round of antibiotics. She was fine as long as she was on the antibiotics, but within a week being off, she was back with infections. That is when I decided to look into 4LIfe Transfer Factor. The rest is history. Though there is much more that involves myself and other members of our family.

With all the problems with our blood supply and what little I know about XMRV and the fact I believe I have carried infections in my own blood from exposure to cattle diseases on our dairy farm as a child, I am glad I did not know anything about IVIG when our daughte was younger. I only read about it from Google searches as I tried to understand what Transfer Factors were in the year 2000. I believe there is a risk in IVIG to exposure to other infections. Something we and our children don't need!
