Milk Thistle Re: Dr. K Protocol Question

My very skilled acupuncturist/herbalist will not let me have milk thistle because it is too weakening, energy draining for my condition even tho detoxing is necessary for various infection and inflammation states. He is having me take a formula by Kan Herbals called Coptidetox instead to take along with the abx I am already taking. Have never taken this big a dose and speculate that it might help the LD stuff clear too. Wonder if somehow getting more circulation and O2 into the liver area and bloodstream, even with a little tapping and/or yoga or light massage, if he can stand to be touched, if it is made to be a game or something and does not hurt him, would help things along. According to Buhner, milk thistle is the best liver protective herb. It is high in phenolic compounds though.
