Guest guest
Candace -- I just want to say that I DID manage to download the chart and print it out... THANK YOU! Two things -- is it your sense that this is their standard chart for all glabrata -- or is it a test of the sensitivity on the specific glabrata organism you grew?? (Does it look like a standard or an individualized printout on the chart part?) (We can guess that most glabrata acts alike, but we can't know for sure it's identical) Otherwise, it looks like from this that the two agents in the MOST SENSITIVE column are itraconazole and ketoconazole, which from my memory (correct me if i'm wrong someone) are the drugs which have the brand names sporanox and nizoral, respectively. Garlic is there, but it's in the medium column, sensitive but not most effective. I'm still wondering about how best to apply it, if I decide to give it a try. candace -- THANKS AGAIN! you rule. best,
Guest guest
Hi My thought is that it was a generic chart. I just did not want to do more drugs, so looked straight to the natural compounds, and took the garlic for a couple of months. Plus took berberine. I had a HORRIBLE bout with the runs that lasted 2 days after taking these natural substances for a short time. After talking with my natural pharmacist, he said, that it was likely the purging of the yeast that made me ill. the " die off " reaction. I do not know, ofcourse, but hoped and supposed I ridded my intestinal system of the glabrata. Again no gyn/urologist has seen evidence of glabrata in my vaginal environment. I am planning on resuming the garlic supplements. Just in case. I am happy to contribute to the information stream, thanks for the thanks.
