Guest guest
Hi OlgaNot DMPS but IV Ca-DMSA, our experience was not good. My son's liver enzymes climbed to the clouds and stayed like that for almost a year: it taxed his liver badly. I would say better if you do a hair element test as recommended by Cutler (I like his method of oral micro-dosage chelation better, according to his investigation it has less undesirable side effects and despite of needing a lot of discipline, doesn't cause further damage as it could happen with IV chelation, where big pulls end up causing new damage including redistribution). You can read more about it by googling: andrew cutler amalgam illness or on the frequent dosage chelation group were I understand he is a moderator. I have heard people who doesn't recover at all from chelation of any kind and the contrary too. I remember your thyroid had a few problems, right? I would be a little chicken about doing IV dmps if such is the case.Hope this helps u a little :-)IsaEnviado desde mi oficina móvil BlackBerry® de TelcelSender: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Date: Thu, 03 Feb 2011 04:06:14 -0000To: <BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism >ReplyTo: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Subject: DMPS Intravenus Challenge test Hi allLast year I had 14 amalgamas removed and my doctor did a blood test lately to check mercury in my body and it is still high and she suggested to do a IV DMPS challenge to check how much heavy metals I will excrete. Guest guest
Hi Isa, Thanks for your reply, I appreciate it very much. I am a chicken too and that why I wanted to find out from others before I decide to have something like this done on me. I saw the doctor yesterday as I need it to see her for recent boold test results and as my thyroid antibodies are still extremely high, the doctor suggested that it could be due to the mercury from the amalgams still floting in my blood and everywhere and recommended to go for the DMPS push, but when I spoke to my husband later on he said " there is no way I will let go for something like that, you could die " he is more chicken than me and does not like to take risk. All the test were fine (liver and kidneys, iron, calcium, magnesium, Vit. D, B vitamins ,insulin, glucose and DHEA and cortisol )so she thinks that what could damaging my thyroid is the mercury left from the amalgams as I have been gluten, dairy free sinmce I found out I had high thyroid antibodies and after 3 months on that diet, the antibodies are still very high, so it didn't make any difference, but I still have to avoid both products as I know that gluten is damaging for the thyroid. I have been feeling much better since I have been taking Zeolite from Waiora 15 drops 3 times a day and have placed another order to continue as I only had one bottle and I finished off in no time. I may also try Bioray NDF later on as it is another product that could help to get rid of mercury, I have heard many good things about it. I will try the hair test later on to see how Zeolite is helping and what amounts of mercury I am excreting. Olga > > Hi Olga > Not DMPS but IV Ca-DMSA, our experience was not good. Guest guest
After I had y mercury fillings removed my doc gave me a shot (not IV) of DMPS. About a week later I broke out w/ an eczema rash all over my arms and neck. That lasted for about 2 weeks. We also did a urine challenge test and I did pul some mercury. WE next tried an IV of EDTA and I did not get a rash and got a better pull of metals thru the urine. Guest guest
Olga you inspire me to get mine done! I am living in denial. Good luck with the chelation decision. The good news is there are so many chelators to choose, and ways to administer. Way to go, you did something for YOU! > > > Hi all > > Last year I had 14 amalgamas removed and my doctor did a blood test lately to check mercury in my body and it is still high and she suggested to do a IV DMPS challenge to check how much heavy metals I will excrete. > > I don't like the idea to do IV chelation and I would like to know if someone in the group has done it or knows more about it,like side effects, any dangers, benefits etc. > > Thanks for your help. > > > Olga >
Guest guest
An elder friend had chelation over time because the veg. she had grown up eating had been soaking up all the lead from the lead musket balls left over from the Rev. war, hunting and target practice, and she ended up with crumbling bones because too much stuff left; maybe a test would not hurt, but a softer approach might be safer. To: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Sent: Wed, February 2, 2011 11:06:14 PMSubject: DMPS Intravenus Challenge test Hi all Last year I had 14 amalgamas removed and my doctor did a blood test lately to check mercury in my body and it is still high and she suggested to do a IV DMPS challenge to check how much heavy metals I will excrete. Guest guest
, That rash wasn't a very good experience for you I believe. I have done some research in the internet and the side effects they mention scare me a bit and I think it will be better for me to take it easy and try a much gentle approach. Guest guest
Jeanette, I agree with you and I am looking for ways to detoxify in a much gentle approach. Thanks for sharing your friend's bad experience, I wouldn't like to be that position later on as my kids need me a lot still.
