Guest guest
Did anyone see the news coverage of the mother caught on a carwash video spraying her daughter with the carwash hose? It was said the spray was on low (as if that helps explain the behavior) but the mother did it because the little three year old was have a tantrum. I had to turn it off because it made me sick. That coverage sent cold shivers down my spine. My mother(bpd)was so cruel when it came to discipline, she would hit with the back of a hair brush. She would use a fly swatter to discipline. When she hit, she didn't care where she hit. It was like on the bottom... It was anywhere. She would be so out of control with her anger. And, she would pinch. One time, we were at my grandmother house and she had a willow tree in the yard. And, she would cut a switch. She would threaten that she had an endless supply. I was never so happy to leave grandma house... how sad most child are happy to see grandma but not me.
Guest guest
I heard about it...and was horrified. Granted, I'm not a parent. But people do pay me to help them raise their children and to advise them on various ways to handle various situations. I've dealt with screaming, tantruming toddlers...and spraying them down with a hose is NOT the way I calm them down. I dunno. I tend to handle tantrums differently than most people do, but my methods work for me and for the children entrusted to my care. :-) Ninera --- deedome62 wrote: > Did anyone see the news coverage of the mother > caught on a carwash > video spraying her daughter with the carwash hose? > It was said the > spray was on low (as if that helps explain the > behavior) but the mother > did it because the little three year old was have a > tantrum.
