Guest guest
I found when i ordered a more recent one earlier this year ....that there is a nurse you can speak with , who will help to chose the wording that best fits your need . i chose " do not hyperextend neck , caution with intubation " rather than arnold chiari ....as any resuce personel will immeadiatly call for more info , upon finding the braclet ..then they will explain acm .......remember , a paramedic or emergency room doctor , may have no clue what chiari is .......whats important to me , is they know immeadiate precautions ! it left me room to add the most urgent of my medication allergies as well . i got the braclet so there would be max room for all this . they also have funds periodically , to help defray the costs if you need these and ask . by sending a copy of my medicare card , my new braclet was provided at no cost . i chose to join as a lifetime member , some 25 years ago , when it became apparent im allergic to all to many antibiotics , and had been dianosed with a couple other odd things ......something id consider now too , if i had the funds . ( well worth the cost , given this is a lifelong need and security !) hope thats of some help ..... sarah in paradise
